Organic liquid nitrogen ice cream with homemade sprinkles.
Obviously, I had to head over to Nørrebro to check out ISTID. I enlisted my suitemate, Morgan, in my ice cream adventure, and we can both confirm that the Salty Caramel ice cream lived up to the hype.

You get to watch your ice cream be churned at the counter in an old-fashioned Kitchen-Aid mixer, using liquid nitrogen so that it freezes in seconds.
The flavor options change daily - our choices were Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter, Salty Caramel, Key Lime Pie, and Vanilla. Quality trumps quantity here - the base is perfectly smooth and creamy - and you can definitely spice it up with the funky topping options. Morgan chose the Almond Crunch with rosemary and sea salt, and I went for the homemade sprinkles, which looked sort of like plastic but tasted like birthday cake frosting.

ISTID is located on one of the coolest streets I've found in Copenhagen thus far. Give yourself an hour (or more) to pop into the second-hand stores, cafes, and boutiques on Jæggersborgade as you make your way towards ice cream greatness.
Tip: ISTID is closed all day on Mondays.
